I'm not sure if this is the place for this thread, but anyway:

Check out http://www.ginipic.com. A totally cool app to browse SmugMug photos in a way you never did before. To use a search result just drag and drop it anywhere (PowerPoint, Photoshop, Word, Blog, anything!).

This only works on Windows... this seems to be similar to CoolIris (FF Plugin)

The difference between Ginipic and Cooliris is that you can't do anything with picture you find on Cooliris. With pictures from Ginipic you can actually use.

Great - a tool that makes it easier to steal other people's pictures and use them without permission. rolleyes1.gif

Actually, it doesn't offer anything different then http://images.google.com/ or http://smugmug.com/search/ offers (with regards to using copyrighted content), only a much better interface.

Which doesn't change what I said ("makes it easier".) mwink.gif

I'm guessing you're the developer of this software (since you only have 4 posts around here: 3 are in this thread and 1 is asking how to use the API to make an app like this)? No worries if you are, but full disclosure is a good thing (though this is the wrong place for this discussion and it will be moved, I bet). thumb.gif

Pupator, that was my exact statement when I saw it is well.

This tool and others like it are exactly why I recommend users turn on Right Click Protection, set the largest display sizes to something smaller than original, and use a watermark.

That combination helps make the theft harder or less worthwhile.
