I really hate making my first entry a negative one. It may be something I'm doing, but in spite of the fact that I click on my address: www.andymccrawphotography.com
it always asks me to Login, which is understandable, but in spite of the fact that I enter my email and password and have always clicked on Remember Me, it doesn't. It's like it owes me money, but would rather pretend it doesn't remember who I am and why am I here.:andy

    wave.gif Hi Andy, Welcome :D

    1) make sure your browser has cookies and 3rd party cookies enabled

    2) go to your homepage, login, and refresh - you should stay logged in.

    Let us know?

You can try clearing your cache and all Smugmug cookies. If that doesn't work, then you'll just need to manage your site through your xxxx.smugmug.com URL where login is more reliable.

Wow! Thanks Andy & John for the near instantaneous replies. You folks could run a 911 Service.

Well, calories or no calories, I guess I'll have to go and deal with my cookies. I also recall when I was using my smugmug address, I had better luck with respect to getting in. Will try both and thanks again to both of you,

Are you by any chance on Firefox?
I have the same issue, Firefox (Mac), using custom domain. I am so used to logging in every time by now...

Do you have 3rd party cookies enabled?

I have the same issue as well with FF (yes 3rd party cookies are enabled). Also, I have to go through the same routine every time:

    1) Go to homepage
    2) Click login
    3) e-mail/password login
    4) returns me to home page but not logged in
    5) click on login again
    6) takes a minute to process credentials
    7) now I'm logged in

This happens on my Windows and OSX computers (both with FF).

This is normal. Login, go to custom name, refresh, now you're logged in - cookie has to set for the cname.

    Mornin' John & Andy,

As you suggested the Home Page URL is by far the more stable and allows me back in without continually having to enter my email/password. Thanks again to both of you,

No, I'm living in the shadow of the Dark Empire, Windows Vista and all that that entails. I tried messing with the cookie dough stuff, but figured I'd screw something else up in the process. I just go to my Domain address when I want to look at my stuff, but go to my SmugMug address when I want to mess with things.

The folks at SmugMug are so great with respect to helping out almost instantly, it's mind boggling. The Dark Empire would so fire them so quickly for such an attitude.

Same issue here... only cropped up recently.
