Busy Back Yard

I have been trying to turn my backyard into a mini nature reserve and it seems to be working so far. With it being fairly cold, anything below 50 is cold to me, I have set up a system where I can take pictures from my car in the backyard, or sit still outside with the sun during the middle of the day when it's not so bad. I know I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather, but I would take 100 degrees and humidity over cold. These were taken with a D50, D300, and D700 with a 70-200 VR and Sigma 120-300 with and without a 1.4 TC. My strategery of sitting still or being in the car sometimes resulted in birds coming too close and getting outside of the focus of the lenses.

Two and eight are quite nice. thumb.gif

If you can figure out how to give them some perches that keep the feeders out of the shot, it would give you a nicer look.
