Full Moon, Fireworks and Lightning to celebrate July 1st. 4 sec exposure.
Sorry, folks. I think I previously posted three of the same shot. Actually, I wasn't even ready to post, but clicked return on the title line, and ... whoops... Off they went. :-( I'm still learning.
Hopefully this one has three different shots.
Is there a way to delete my dumb posts after they've gone?

Mini Challenge #70 --- Long Exposure
Here is one of my very few long exposure photos. The wave was coming in and I didn't think it was going to be that deep, no where to go, rock bluff directly behind me. Yes, I got drenched. Shot for 3.2 seconds. Thanks, Barbara
Watermarking
Hello folks,
I'm confused about something and perhaps you could help me: When I uploaded my 3 photos to the mini-challenge, I removed the watermarking from them. Once they were successfully posted, I re-watermarked them in the SmugMug gallery. I figured out that was a mistake when I saw the posted photos were once again watermarked. So, I removed the watermark again. However, the posted view remains watermarked. Is this just a question of time?
Sorry about the big "Terrasse Productions." I have more than photography skills to learn here. :-)
Thanks,
Audrey
first, its ok to watermark as you wish in the mini-s...
second, yes sometimes its a matter of time and you also may need to update by pressing your keyboard f5 button when on the page your photos are posted...
Each 'thread' or static spark in this image is 25,000 volts. They are being produced on the bottom probe and arcing to the pin. The arc is about 1 1/2 inches. It is a simulation of a human generated static spark (an actual person would only produce 1 or 2 at a time).

I know it's the last minute, but I thought I'd give it a shot...

Kink,
is it my cabin fever... or did you just call me a big fancy name...? remember, im just one of the mutts...
just keep in mind your noticed, its just alot of people are lurkers instead of keyboardists....haha
anyway, back to your image, its very nice and better than any waterfall i have... (as goes with every waterfall shot in this thread)
you might find that using f16 will get you a sharper FG and still give you DOF instead of using f18... i found when using f16 or greater softness will start-in on your image.
