Found this strange looking bug while trekking in lower Himalaya region. Can some one Identify it?

Maybe some form of Assassin Bug?

Can't really tell from the pics whether it's a longhorn beetle or a plant bug/ assassin bug. Did you notice if it had a longish proboscis folded under it's head ?
