I took some photos this weekend at my son's gymnastics meet and was pretty happy with the results. I find most of my shots are usually on the soft side, but these below I thought were pretty sharp. White balance was a problem (along with low light) so I tried to correct in PP. All taken with my Canon 40D and 70-200 lens. I still had to do quite a bit of cropping since parents are not allowed on the competition floor.

thumb.gifthumbthumb.gif Well done! The WB is dead one and the exposure is good! Considering your location, etc., you should be proud of these frames!

Lighting in that facility is bad - probably the worst I've ever encountered shooting gymnastics - and you handled it well.

pretty nice images, both boys and girls. Tough to shoot up into the lights, maybe stand for these.
