Chilly Meerkats at the zoo

Went to the lowry park zoo in Tampa this weekend. It was cold for Florida - 50 degrees. The meerkats were apparently quite cold as well. Most of their area was covered in shade. As soon as some of the morning light appeared they ran over and stood in the light trying to get warm:

    I like 3 for the composition. Looks like they all got busted in a police raid, and they're standing against the side of a building cuffed. Very cute.

    50 in Florida sucks though.

    I was thinking the same thing... looks like a line-up! How cute that they all wanted to warm up. I like the 3rd one a lot, being able to see where all the shade falls and how they are just barely able to put themselves in the sun. Nice shots, what a fun trip to the zoo!
