I have been shooting with a D300 for awhile and my wife gave me a D700 tonight for an early Valentines gift. I shoot alot of sports in low light so this is going to be great. My question is this, I know all of my lenses will work on the D700. However, people have told me that they hope my lenses will work. All of my equipment is listed in my signature. Can someone will knowledge on FX sensors throw some knowledge my way please?

I think your fisheye is a DX lens, but there might be 2 versions out there. I'm just figuring this out myself. Check for 'DX' on any of yours. If so, it's a crop lens. Which you can still use, but will be more limited.

Yes, my fisheye is the only lens labeled DX.

The biggest thing that you will notice in going full frame will be your wide shots. Find yourself a nice 14mm lens and it will look like you are shooting panos compared to the crop sensor.
The next best thing will be the unbelievable ISO shots. You will be comfortable at 6400, and easily work with 8000.

Haha, I surprised her with a new Dodge Durango almost 2 weeks ago. So, she's very happy right now.
