One of the waterfalls in the Julian Alps becomes really impressive during winter when it freezes into a million icicles. The whole cliff over which the waterfall plunges about 50 meters deep is covered with ice. It is certainly an awesome sight.
I got there relatively early in the morning when the place was still in the shade.

When the sun finally hit the frozen waterfall, the huge icicles began to melt and some of them came crashing down with a thunder. Again, it was really impressive!

you did awesome Ana!
btw #5 is my fav...
The Julian Alps are in the western part of Slovenia. Wonderful place, but yes, cold in the winter.
My wide lenses are Sigma 10-20 mm and Peleng fisheye 8 mm. Of the photos posted here none are taken with the fisheye though. If you're interested, you can see them in my album.
