I am working to advance my photography, and as first step, as some of you know, I have been setting up my SmugMug site.

I am happy to say while there is more work to be done, and more photos to add, it's up and running, and open. :clap :clap :clap

    Thanks, Lisa, and Angelo,

It's been a little frustrating at times, but the SmugMug gang, has been putting up with my confusion, and helping me.

HTML, domain names, CNAME, it was easier when all you did was hang a sign on the door. :D

Of course there is the little bonus of being visible world wide instantly. :ivar

Congratulations on navigating the techno-babble and getting this up. Job well done, indeed:Thumb

The photos in the slide show are fantastic - very nice selection or first rate photos, with a lot of diversity. Did I see a shot or two of Skippy in there?

On your services page, think about varying the size/"boldness" of your copy. Your section headers are the same font as the discussion. Additonally, your have the "Share", "Slideshow" and "Comment" buttons exposed. Is that appropriate? How about the breadcrumbs ("samlinvillephotography > Website > Services") - do you want that visible in addition to your navigation menu?

About Me - Wow, what a life full of experiences you've led! Some minor tweeks: I think you need a paragraph break before "If you look through my work..." In paragraph #5, you have a typo ... I think "scene is a way" should be "scene in a way". Remove "," after "feeling". Paragraph #6, remove comman after "you".

Ordering prints - "gamut" may be too jargon for some? Maybe include a link to the Smugmug guarantee or move it up from where it appears later? Remove comma after "web"

Hi Sam - In taking a browse through your work (good stuff, btw!) I noticed a typo. 'http://www.samlinvillephotography.com/Clent Galleries' - is 'Clent Galleries' - I'm assuming you meant that to read 'Client Galleries'.

    Hope it helps.

    Cheers.

    You guys are great!!!

Believe it or not I have asked quite a few people to proof read the site for me, and they all missed some things. Thanks!

    Thanks Tom, I fixed it.

Thanks Scott for the very detailed response. First, yes that's Skippy.

I removed the share buttons, fixed the typo's, decided to leave gamut, and since there is a comment on my about me page, I'll leave that button for the time being.

One thing I haven't figured out how to do is to remove the slide show buttons on selected galleries.

I can remove it from all galleries, but I want the option available from within the photo galleries.

So if anybody knows how to do this please let me know.
