Long Exposures...... how to?
I've been learning photography for a little less than a year now. I have a decent grasp of most of the general principles. One thing that I haven't really tried is long exposures. Well, actually I did try once, but they turned out bad.
When I say long exposures, I mean like star trail long. What I'm wondering........ is it best to do one long exposure, or shoot a lot of shorter ones and then stack them together? And what program do you use to stack them? And how long would exposures be for either method (a rough estimate)? Is it best to use large, small, or medium aperture sizes?
Any tips would be great.
