Marble Canyon

Marble Canyon, Kootenay National Park, British Columbia

This area was swept by wildfire a number of years ago. The canyon cuts sharp and deep through a landscape of ravaged destruction and new growth.

    Thanks Frag :)

    Yeah...that first shot is one of my favourites from last summer, I love the mist rising in the back and the light on the foreground prominotory. It gives some idea of the force of the water that causes that mist to rise maybe 50 feet.

    ........hmmm just got a great idea...should go back there now in the midst of winter mwink.gif

    One the third one.

    The play of all the textures makes this a crazy good picture IMHO.

    I like #1.

    But when you get back there, a little more saturation in the foreground might add a little.
