A few shots from Antarctica

Hello All - this is my first post, though I've been using SmugMug for a year or so. I'm currently delayed in Antarctica (where I work as a research scientist) waiting for a flight back to New Zealand. I've been reading through the forums a while and I thought I might share just a couple shots from down here and see what everyone thinks. (I've gotten into photography a little in my down time here)....

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I've been stuck here in Antarctica for another 3 days due to weather, but on the bright side I got a nice shot last night. Below is a bracketed HDR image of Mt Discovery. It's fun to see how the colors change throughout the season. This was taken at midnight last night (Feb 7) - the sun still hasn't gone below the horizon at all, and isn't even in the shadow of the mountain yet, but the colors are very different than earlier in the summer. This is the first night I've seen any pink in the sky. Anyway, artistically, I don't really care for the colors, but this is what it looked like here in McMurdo last night!
