Well they all meet the theme, but 1+2 are too simple. I think i like #3 the best, but I would crop out the left side (square crop)

I like 1 and 3. The b/w doesnt do the flower justice (IMO) and on #3 the angle is much better and fills out the frame nicely although Pyro's idea about a square crop would be worth trying.

I'm really digging the flower - I love that you've combined the high key background with some stark colour, and the exposure on the poppy is dead on to my eye. Neat picture!

Thanks! I think I like the flower the best as well. Sometimes I fear I am too much of a minimalist but it seems I am always drawn back to it. I will certainly try a square crop tonight on #3. I square crops too! hehe

I really like #1. My first idea was to try to do something like that. You really did a nice job with it! As much as I like that flower though, #3 looks really nice. I think cropping it would make it even better.
