She and her son own a dry cleaner in Newton Center. I saw her in the window, mending clothes. Worked up the nerve, went in, introduced myself, and she tolerated me taking a few pictures of her.

    I love that that 1st shot. Greath bokeh, it may be techincally underexposed a bit but I actuallu like it as is.

    These are absolutely wonderful. What a great face she has!! No wonder you were drawn to photograph her.

    It is always great to hear stories from photographers who approach strangers to take their pictures. Inspiring.
