Any way to flag and move pictures?

I'm working on a project for a client that involves selecting 5 or 6 pictures from each of day of shooting. Each day of shooting has its own gallery (there are 51 galleries).
Is there any quick way to flag or segregate selected photos from a gallery? It would be nice to have them all together at the front of the gallery for easy review.
In a typical gallery for this project, I have as many as eighty pictures or more. As things stand now, I've been tediously moving the keepers to the front of the gallery with the arrange tool.
Any easier way to do this sort of thing? It occurs to me that I could also just move the selected photos to a new gallery which would then contain only the five or six we've pulled, but that means a lot of new galleries.
Any help or suggestions is appreciated!

I'll try it using names, maybe that'll work better.
Thanks!
