Quick shot of my wife and other girl

Taken in my den while I was taking some pics of my kids. I am new and can use any help or critique offered. Nikon D80/ 18-200 @ 18mm. f5.6 at 1/60 400 iso and an sb-800 bounce.

    Looks a little noisy to me, nice picture. I think you could have opened up your lens to F/4 gotten most of the image in sharp focus and dropped to 200 ISO. That's incredibly noisy for 400 iso.

    But the picture is marvelous.

    Dogs have something weird about their eyes and have that glow-eye. A little post could have removed that. (Burn tool) Here is an example picture. 429046747_mwP9S-L.jpg

    EXIF is embedded and it's almost an identical shot in settings minus the aperture. (2.8) but it's with a D40, I'm assuming a D80 is a better camera. I don't understand why there is so much noise.
