The California high school soccer season is in the winter months of November through March.

The girls all took a dive into the mud after the match.

    GREAT!!!
That they didn't cancel the game... but it seems they had fun :)

How did your equipment came through?

Memories...I shot a game like that last Spring - it started sunny, then the bottom dropped out, then sunny by the end of the match.

I'm glad you kept shooting - the girls seem to love pics of games like this one.

They only cancel around here if there's lighting or the pitch is under water.

Just fine, thanks. One of the parents who normally photographs had a beach umbrella (large enough for 2) so he followed me around and kept me dry. I had a OP/Tech RainSleeve on the camera, and never had a problem.
