Website is not functioning?

Hi,

My site has not been up and running for almost a week now - I am not quite sure what the problem is? The address is www.everlookphotography.com

I have checked my settings (with the domain name provider) and it says on the status details that it is enabled.

Any suggestions? I'm not too good with this side of things, so I don't even know where to start. I have sent off an email to the company from whom I bought the domain name but they have yet to reply.

Sorry about your troubles. The domain does not seem to be connected at all. The SmugMug server and I can't find it at all. Something is up at your domain registrar. Either the domain registrar is having problems or there's an issue with the settings at your domain registrar.

Running a WHOIS query on your domain, I get the following address for the domain registrar:
www.australianstyle.com.au
Very odd that they don't have a real site at all. Is this your domain registrar?
Do they provide you with some sort of online login for your domain? If so, can you still login to your account?

In the meantime, please use your SmugMug nickname address to work with your SmugMug site. This one should work at all times.

Thanks Sebastian for your help. The address I use to access the domain registrar is www.name.com.au - I don't know if they use more than one address?

I do have a login and I was able to access the www.name.com.au members section and that was where I saw that my address was supposedly working/enabled.

I haven't had a reply from them and usually they are quite good with email support so maybe they really are having some troubles. I'll just go back to the Smugmug nickname address as you suggested.

Edit: I've just tried using the nickname address but that isn't working either? (www.everlook.smugmug.com)

I took a look as well and the domain is not responding. Your SmugMug site is working fine. But drop the www it is not needed. everlook.smugmug.com should work with no problems.

As for the custom domain, contact me on the help desk with the Domain Host login information. I will be happy to set i up for you.
