Helping Hand

This is an Anzac statue, of an Australian Soldier offereing his mate a helping hand. I love what this Statue conveys. My grandfather was in the Australian Lighthorse and fought in North Africa then in France during the First World War. I now have my Grandfathers Medals.:):

    What I also like about this photo is that it was an overcast day in the middle of winter which I think added to the shot. Sort of gave it a stark feel with the trees without their leaves.:D
