This is one reason I found smugmug....
Back in Sept 2006, I sent some photos online to Kroger to get printed for a local contest. I went in the next day to pick them up only to discover that Kroger no longer had a photo department in our local store. The manager said that I would never see the photos I sent online to the local store to get printed.
So, I went home and printed my own photos.
Today I get a call from our local Kroger store that they found my photos ("very nice large ones") in a bin under a counter that they were cleaning. The same photos I was told I would never see. She asked if I still wanted them. I questioned if I would be charged and yes.... even though it was their mistake I was going to be charged 29.95. I asked if I didn't pick them up if they would shred them and yep... they are being shredded.
NOW if I need some photos printed...... the only way to print (if not in a pinch) is through my Smugmug site. :thumb
