Well I have been really busy in the studio, trying to shoot as many models as possible. So far I have learned a ton and look forward to continuing.
Emmanuelle was a model who was a real blast to work with. Here are a couple of photos, please feel free to tear them apart. These were all shot with a 1 strobe setup and reflector.

    Dave,
    nice series!
The simple fact the you put your model on a white reflective surface gave you an additional (and a very large) reflector on the bottom, thus pretty much bringing you to almost clam-shell setup. thumb.gif

Thanks Nikolai, you are right about the floor..In the beginning we went to the floor b/c its a small studio and it gave me more head room. But I quickly realised the advantage of the extra fill..

    Cheers

awesome lighting on that last one. love it. I knew it was on a full frame camera before I saw your siggy. Another example of that undefinable aspect of a full frame...I still can't put my finger on it though.

Thanks everyone, I am still pretty new at this studio thing and its definitely more challening that I thought it would be.

But so far its been alot of fun meeting / working with different models and I am definitely looking forward to more work in the studio.

    Cheers
