    Funny you posted this. Last night I had the ingenious idea that I could make some sort of extension and diffuser for my onboard flash to use in macro work. I checked google to see if anyone else had already done it and I came across this fiber optic idea. It looks great, but I think I may just go with a simple reflective tube with a diffuser on the end for versatility.
