    #2 is a very good capture Bob. The otehr three are a tad soft. What were your settings for those captures?

    Hi Harry thanks for looking and commenting. The settings are as follows:-
    All shot in manual Raw F6.3
    1. 1/25 ISO 200 and focal length 161mm
    2. 1/80 ISO 200 focal length 161mm
    3. 1/250 ISO 1600 focal length 226mm
    4. 1/250 ISO 500 and focal length 500mm
    All were taken with the Sigma 50-500mm using a 40D

    Agree...2nd is good...maybe a little more saturation would help.:D

    Good work bob.

    Personally I would crank up the shutter speed. That may help to decrease any camera shake. imho..
    Canon 40D, 50mm f/1.8, 400mm f/5.6L, sigma 105mm Macro.
