Hi Y'all,

On Wednesday of the MI VI Shoot some of us took a ride to the Avian Reconditioning Center in Apopka. These folks do marvelous work rehabbing and caring for raptors as well as conducting educational programs. You can check them out here. You can also assist them in their efforts by joining their adopt-a-bird program.

Here's a few pics from our visit.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Thanks Ric.

The glow was accidental. I started out with this pic

I hated the background so I did a duplicate layer and applied gaussian blur to it and got this
    472554667_YLeMy-XL.jpg

Then I converted the dup layer to a layer mask and painted out the blur on the eagle
