How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Love how you got the eye in focus for the first one Harry, that's sweet! Another awesome series, your metering is impeccable. thumb.gif

    Hi You'll

    Hey Harry -

I recognize those birds. What great shots. The look on the bird on the right in shot three is really funny. Of course, i love the shots of the Snowy Egret. I hope to make it to the Rookery this evening. I am curious to see who is flying, who got feathers, and what eggs have hatched. Hopefully, not too many youngsters have ended up as alligator appetizers.

    Hey Jeff,

Thanks and sorry that I couldn't get a butt shot for ya. :D The first shot was with my D100 and the 24-120 VR lens. The rest were with the D2H and either the 300mm/f4 + 1.4 TC or the 80-400. If the exif data says 420mm for the focal length its from the 300mm the rest were from the 80-400,

Thanks Susan. That Snowy Egret would be very happy to hear about your response. He was spreading those feathers just to get that kind of response from a female. It worked. rolleyes1.gif
