I've always thought that a game which allows one to run down the field hitting one's opponent with a stick is well worth the effort to photograph. :barb I guess that's why I try to get to as many games as possible.

Here's a couple from Emory University at Furman University last weekend.

    Nice work as usual. The first one is really good--hard to get much good on a faceoff. Nice patience to wait for him to pull the ball out. You caught his face nicely whereas usually it's only possible to see the top of the helmet.

    The only real detractor from these shots is the dormant winter grass. Almost makes it look like you did that processing which makes only the subject in color and everything else b/w. Guess there's not too much you can do about that except wait for spring.
