Around the World map widget?

Does the "Around the World" map widget on homepage has a limitation in terms of how many locations it will show? I have the map showing on my search page, and till some time back it was showing green icons in India, China, Macau, Hong Kong etc. Now it only shows Hong Kong (where most of my recent images are tagged)

For example, the following image's location is not shown anymore

Not sure if this is related or not but I have a Map button on my navbar that goes to the feed below to display a Google map and it used to show up to 150 images but now only shows 10 images. What happened to the rest of the images?

Thanks. No rush on this, but seems Ron is right too. I also see just 10 images on feed
Wondering if the around the world works on last N images, or last N unique locations (with some tolerance of course - like all of a city, or places within 100 miles being treated same area)? Last N would be easy to implement, but unique places would probably have more impact

My map at
www.funtimesphotography.com
now shows only my most recent 10 locations
(even though I previously entered more).

I know the guidelines once stated that only 150 locations would show. But 10 is a lot less than 150.

I like the 150 limit much better.
Hope the programmers can get this fixed.

The strange thing is only the Smugmug user feed is limiting the photos to 10, if I go to one of my galleries and click the Map This button 60 photos show up.

For example if I use this feed:

http://maps.smugmug.com/?feedType=geoUser&Data=RonD200 only 10 photos show up when I used to get 150

If i use this feed:

http://maps.smugmug.com/?feedType=geoAlbum&Data=5833401_pZptS all 60 photos that I have geotagged show up

The difference seems to be the feedtype the top feed is the SmugMug user feed and the bottom feed is the Smugmug Gallery feed.

I sure hope they get the Smugmug user feed back up to the max 150 images

Any fix for this yet, I'm still only getting 10 images to show up instead of 150.

Is anyone looking into this or is 10 images the new default for the Smugmug user feed?

It's Fixed!!!!!

I'm getting lots of photos in my map now, in fact I'm getting 200 photos, this is great!!!:D

Not fixed for me.
I still only get two on my map. Does the map just pull the last 200 photos? or does it randomly select them. If I uploaded a gallary of 200 photos from the same place will it look like that is the only pin on the map? It ruins the point of the map if you ask me.

The number of photos you will see depends on the feed you are using, if you are using the gallery feed and only have a few photos geotagged in that gallery that's all you'll see on the map.

If you are using the Smugmug user feed it will now show the last 200 photos that you geotagged from all of your galleries.

Here's my user feed and you see I'm getting 200 photos on the map

If you go to the link above, look at the drop down lists at the top and you'll see I'm using the Smugmug user feed and its finding my last 200 geotagged images.

You can change the drop down list to Smugmug gallery and type in the gallery key and it will only show the geotagged photos from that particular gallery, if you only have 5 photos geotagged in that gallery that's all that will show up on the map.

So I have a map photo page....http://www.pellsphotography.com/map

I assume its just loading the last 200 photos I put up which would be the costa rica photos. How do I get it to randomly select from all my galleries? All my photos are geotagged, and most have the same exact location
