One of many street performers on Sydney's streets. When I saw him on the tightrope, I knew I wanted a silhouette. Comments pro and con welcome.

Using a sillouette here is something I don't think I would have thought of, that's an very original and effective approach! Love the contrasts, and your framing!

Thanks all. Actually, Fred, it is a guy with longish hair:D I gave him a print of it and he was delighted. He was going to put it in his website (with accreditation to me, of course!).

    Cheers

    Wow!!!
Awesome shot, Sheila...you really nailed the exposure right on the money! And all the much sweeter because you caught it on the fly. Your last name certainly fits...you were very, very smart to capture this one so well.

    Cheers!

Did you get his website? I'd be interested in checking that out, since it appears he might be on a slackline, and while I've heard of people juggling on a line, I'd never seen it. Looks like he's got some serious skill! Very cool picture too, I love how there's a good variety of color AND a silhouette. Nice work!

15524779-Ti.gif I agree with everything above. Great capture. Nice colors, nice mood. My only niggle is that I'd probably clone out the microphone.
