Hi,
I'm just starting to get into macro, with a new camera half way around the world from where I live. So the techniques are new, the camera is new and getting to play in snow is new! The photos on this forum are just inspiring!! Here's a couple of attempts at snowflakes and frost and tips on how to get better photos much appreciated. Both taken with D90, tamron 90mm macro, SB600.
Ellen.
Morning frost on the window (we don't seem to get those fern shapes that I've seen other people post).
Three snowflakes in a row.
