Password protection on gallery not working

I started a new gallery of pictures today that I only want certain people to be able to see, and they would have to enter the password. The first time I tried logging onto the gallery it asked for my password. I sent out an email to the people I selected to view it and furnished the passwod to them.

Since then I have logged off Smugmug and back on to that gallery and it doesn't ask for the password and just goes right to the gallery.

I looked at my customization and it shows the password, so why isn't this working?

Smugmug remembers for a little while (in a browser cookie) what recent credentials you have supplied so it doesn't have to prompt you every time you go to the gallery. This is actually a very nice feature for your viewers and is great if you use the same password for the same audience on multiple galleries.

If you clear your cookies or try in another browser or on another computer, you will see that the password is in effect.

Thanks, I didn't realize this is what was happening. I am glad to know that it really is a private gallery to those who have passwords.
