It has been raining all week, so yesterday I got a chance to go out to the Hunter Wetlands Centre in Newcastle. It turned out quite productive, with a large varieties of birds.
Here are just some of them.

1. Egret - an arty shot.

2. Nankeen Night Heron

3. Whistling Kite.

4. Baby Dusky Moorhen.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

The heron is certainly the best of the series, but I also like the narrow, pano-like presentation of the dusky moorhen. You achieved strong eye contact with that one too. thumb.gif
