Hi everyone. I'm looking forward to learning more about photography from this forum. I love all of the beautiful photographs I've seen. I went to the Detroit Zoo last weekend and took some shots. Here are a few of them. Please feel free to criticize and/or comment. Thanks!

Here, I turned it to B/W and, for effect, reintroduced original color back into the eyes and mouth.

Zoos are a great place to practice.

Except for the lioness, all your shots could benefit with a little more space around the subject. Resist the temptation of getting too close.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Welcom to Dgrin. The tiger shot is awesome. I'd clone out some of the twigs/branches around its ears. And lose the B/W conversion...ne_nau.gif
