Convert Ballhead mounting hole size

RRS ballheads are 3/8" threaded mounting holes. Is is possible to convert that to a 1/4" to mount to an older tripod?

Yes, there are sleeves that are 3/8" male (to screw into an RRS ballhead) and 1/4" female to mount on an old tripod. I think RRS should sell them. I know Manfrotto sells them. Try B&H.

Thanks Jim - I was actually going through B&H when "bushing" popped into my head.
