Howdy-

Not sure if this area is the right place to place the request/suggestion. So I just ordered a 20 x 30 inch print and then had to go else where to find a frame for it. I was not able to purchase it framed directly in one solution. I could use the links to buy it framed but not at the sizes or paper available through EZ Prints.

Thanks

At the moment, the only framed items are available through our partnership with Imagekind. Did you try that? ear.gif

    Thanks for the response.

I tried using Imagekind and was surprised that I could not pick the image size I wanted. I looked at the image size to print size table on the help page I figured that the photo I was going to use having a resolution of 2150 x 1698 it was larger than the 20x30 size of 1280x1920 so that was what I wanted.

I then went to Buy > Owner Buy > Mount and Framing. I selected imagekind. I then chose the image and chose ready made. However the largest size I could pick was 11x14. So then I chose custom frame. The largest option was Small (13.9" x 11.0") with the wording:
We require a minimum resolution so your art prints look great. The larger the image (in pixels), the larger the possible print size. Some sizes may be crossed out depending on the size of the uploaded file.

So I could not get the size I wanted from them. I figured maybe they had a different process, they were a little more expensive but figured I would see what the options were. The paper options were
    • Enhanced Matte
    • Photo Glossy
      S
    • Somerset Velvet
    • Ultra Smooth Fine Art
    • Photo Luster
    • Torchon Fine Art
    • Photo Rag
    • Fine Art Pearl

No Metallic, which after some help :D I had decided on. So then I looked at fotoflōts. A little more money, but if they had what I wanted I would go with them. However the only media is Fuji Crystal Archive and it is not the style I thought would end up looking good on my office wall. Also I did not like that I could not get the aspect ratio and keep it at a large size.

So I ended up purchasing a 20 x 30 Metallic Print and then searching at Amazon for a 20 x 30 frame that I liked. It looks like it will be nice and have a matte area and match the image. The part that I don't like is that I will have the print before I have the frame, so I am going to try to not open the print to not get finger smudges on it but I know it is going to be hard. I am also paranoid about my delivery person mangling my print as they have done to other items that say "Don't bend"

    Make sense?
