:scratch I tried again at some macro shots. Can I get an opinion on these 2?

    Nice pistachios :)
    What is the light source ?
    Can only say neither composition really grabs me, not sure but think I would have preferred a a wider FOV (ie less magnification)

    What I did was put them on foil to reflect some light by the window. That is sunlight only. Tried something different. Thought it would work.ne_nau.gif

    Think the light does work, just the compositions do not work that well for me (remember that is just my personal opinion and I'm fairly useless at "still life" type shots) . It's really whether you liked the results that's important !

    Interesting light you have on these shots, and I'm with Brian on the composition not being so good.

    I have a love-hate relationship with pistachios :D

    My pet hate about them is getting the darn things out of the shell without getting sore finger tips.

    My love for them is the taste.
