Usually I hang out most in the sports forum--but yesterday a friend of mine asked me to come get shots of his son who is playing instructional league basketball--bascially a bunch of first graders running around with a ball, only very vaguely resembling the game you may have seen on TV. The light in the gym was dim and inconsistent, the walls were painted blue, and the floor was multicolored plastic tile, which gave of wierd reflections. Although I set a custom WB, it was still all over the place and I still think many were too blue.

Nonetheless, when my wife saw these she kept saying "cute,"--not the normal reaction to my work. So--although sports related, I thought "people" might be a more appropriate spot.

    boy oh boy basketball is very very unforgiving. I have been assistant coaching my brothers team and have been having a lot of problems also. I think this gym is the worst I have seen! lol good for what you had to work with. By the way... 5th graders are not much better! hahaha
