Squares

I complained about the square thumbnails because I did not understand what was happening at first but now I get it.

Is there a way to make all of my thumbnails squares all at once or do I have to go into each gallery individually one at a time?

    Individually one at a time in the Smugmug interface. You may be able to change a whole bunch at once using a tool like SmugBrowser (addin for Firefox).

    You can do a whole gallery at once under customize gallery. Check square
    thumbs and it will be applied to all.

    Thumbnails: Square: X Original: _ Changes will take a few minutes to appear...

    I went in to start changing galleries to all square thumbs and it doesn't seem to be accepting it. I changed all of my animals galleries and it's still showing "not square thumb" images. Any ideas?

    How do you change the galleries? Do you use quick settings or do you change them individually?

    Quick settings won't re-create thumbnails. You would have to use the Tools > multiple photos > more > adjust thumbnails to re-generate the thumbs.

    Ohhhh! Okay, I'll try that. So there's not a way to change all the galleries at once? :( This is gonna take me a while. eek7.gif

    You could try using SmugBrowser. It allows for bulk changing of individual settings in galleries for whole categories.
