Pier shots - Vantage Points, etc
I recently visited the Turks and Caicos and found a great pier that left me quite frustrated despite repeated trips for a great shot/vantage point. I struggled with shots under/over, the length of pier to include and where to place the horizon relative to the pier. Thought I would post my efforts here and ask for your thoughts/critiques on the shots and what could be done in the future to improve them.
Thanks,
E
1. 10-22 lens; higher perspective
2. 10-22 lens; pylons at level of horizon
3. 10-22 longer view with waves/sand
4. 10-22 side view
5. 10-22 portrait orientation
5. 10-22
7. different pier; 10-22 again
8.
9. long exposure at sunset
10. 18-55 with polarizer
11. pylons at the horizon
12. ran back after spotting the sailboat; still with the 18-55 and polarizer
13. Higher perspective with sailboat
14. And under the pier with a longer exposure
