Pier shots - Vantage Points, etc

I recently visited the Turks and Caicos and found a great pier that left me quite frustrated despite repeated trips for a great shot/vantage point. I struggled with shots under/over, the length of pier to include and where to place the horizon relative to the pier. Thought I would post my efforts here and ask for your thoughts/critiques on the shots and what could be done in the future to improve them.
Thanks,
E
