Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois

Hey all! I've been pretty delinquent on Dgrin lately but hopefully a couple of you remember me around here :smooch. I just wanted to let you all know that I'm doing the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois in a little over a week. I've got friends that either work for or are closely involved with Special Olympics Illinois and they are some of the best people I have ever known. They've done the plunge in the past and this year I'm stepping up to the plate and taking the plunge myself. It's in a little over a week and since I'm a slacker I just signed up for it . I love the cold......haven't used a furnace in over 15yrs......but gotta have hot showers and no way I could jump into that icy water.......nope I aint a duck:D

Polar plunges are Great. You get to see some crazy people, including my Family.

Delaware gets to use the beach and atlantic ocean for their plunge..
