A few bugs appearing now as well as the springtails. Actually saw my first butterfly of the year (a red admiral) but didn't have a chance of a shot.

Thanks for looking and commenting :)

Kulla - for the first 3 shots I was holding the leaf/twig near the bug with my left hand and shooting by resting the camera lens on that hand. The last 3 springtail shots were all in positions where I could rest the lens on a solid surface when taking shots. I never use a tripod but sometimes use a bean pole which I grip with my left hand and just also hold whatever bit of the camera I can depending on the shooting angle.
