Shooting food

I was asked to shoot photos of entrees and appetizers for promotional purposes for a local restaurant and banquet facility. I am planning on some 110mm 2.8 marcro stuff and 85mm 1.8 for entire plates. Does anyone have any lighting suggestions, or any other info that would be helpful.

if these are for say piscture on a menu..a soft-light box would be great..just slide in snap and move on to the next plate.

for my food shots, i have a large softbox (alien bees 30"x60") that i use with white reflectors to open up the shadows. imo, food looks best with natural light, so i'm trying to imitate light coming through a window. to show the texture, i angle it from the side or back.
