Hey there,
I'm planning on doing some upgrading in the next couple of weeks and hoping I can pick up some of the stuff used or in trade for what I'm upgrading.

ISO: 5d mkii (yeah... I know, fat chance) and a 70-200 2.8L is

I will be looking to sell my 5d (~20k clicks) and mint 70-200 f4L (non is)

It will be a couple of weeks before I am ready, but I thought I would get the feelers out.

If I buy new I may jump on the current canon rebate deal which would require me to buy a 580ex II along with the 70-200 and 5dmkii in which case I would be looking to sell a new, unopened 580 II for $375. I already have 2 so I don't need it.

I am going to ask $450 shipped + 1/2 PP fees on the L glass and $1200 shipped + 1/2 PP fees on the 5d. Both are mint/as new except a little typical rubbing on the lens hood of the 70-200, and the typical minor brassing on the hotshoe of the body. They both come in original boxes, with manuals and accessories. 5D comes with an extra aftermarket battery, and the glass comes with a hoya UV filter that has been on since day 1.

These are not officially for sale until I make my upgrades though. I should have things figured out in that regard by the end of the month.

Here is a shot from the combo @1/80th, 200mm , handheld, no flash

Will do Carol! That will end up a good deal for both of us. That way I get about half the rebate. I'll let you know if I go that route.

I'm still waiting on some money to come in so not yet sure at this point. Unfortunately it probably won't be in my pocket this month like I had originally thought, so the flash deal will most likely go by the wayside.

I have a 70-200f2.8IS if you are interested. Please PM me.

I'm in WA; haven't sold anything here; but have a stellar rep on FM (selling and buying anyway...mwink.gif )

Long story short: I never use it, and I'd rather upgrade my 17-40 to a 16-35.
I like to make pretty pictures. Maybe one day I'll be good at it.

Well, I can wait for a bit - please let me know when you've decided/are ready to sell.
