These were shot with a D300, 120-300 Sigma with and without a 1.4 TC.

1 I like this shot of the pitcher, but hate the background. I couldn't get lower as the field is below the viewing area.

I like #1 the best too, I would like to see more of the face in the batter shots. Baseball is one of the few sports where you don't necessarily have to have the ball in the frame. I too am ready for baseball to start!

#3/4 are my favorite, they capture the intensity of baseball pretty well. Good work.

I don't like that too. I have to find a good vantage point to get some ball on bat and face shots.

I'm not a big fan of bat on ball shots because you usually don't get a face. I prefer the batter coming out of the box.
