2009 Amgen Tour of California Bike Race
First not the greatest photos in the world. Way too dreary, I had to shoot at ISO 800, which on my camera is a total no-no. 1/125 of a second could not stop the action as the riders raced by.
Just in case anyone is curious how the riders looked in pouring rain I have posted 2 photos to my gallery and a long panorama I created as they passed by my house. The background stays the same as that was the constant, and the riders change. I had the idea of printing a nice banner of the race for my home office, but it is like 96 inches wide at 3 inches high. Way too small height wise to be worth it. Anyway here's a photo of the main group as they passed by. I have the "banner" in my gallery in case you are interested in seeing it.
