    Thanks for the Tip, hopefully the D300 will go down in price since the New D300S is coming out.

    I just picked up a LN- one from KEH on ebay...1440 actuations (really like new), for a $1050 (after 13% BING.com cashback)....check them out!

    Hey Joe,

    I called Nikon USA and they told me that all Nikon camera and lens warranties from date of purchase are non-transferable. So if you really need a D300 with a warranty, the only way you'll get one is if it's a third-party warranty that allows transfer of ownership. Hope this helps!
