L.A. woodpecker in a palm tree

All the time I tried to get a good shot of a woodpecker in yosemite --failed :dunno drive up to the house yesterday and :uhoh in a palm tree how hollywood :D

    thanks steve made a little adj from one to 2 not great but good i got a little to happy happy it took me a minute to get that is was a wood pecker then i did not take enough time with my shot he was 30 feet from me by the time i got the camera he was in that tree 200 feet

    2nd one Jeff. Very tough to get a distant shot with what you had to deal with. thumb.gif
    Never have seen a woodpecker around here, plenty of peckerwoods :lol4 :lol4 though!!

    In fact here's one from today same kind of tough light and angle ne_nau.gif
