Hi,

Singapore celebrated Thaipusam the other week ... Thaipusam (Tamil: தைப்பூசம்) (or Thai Poosam Kavady) is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (Jan/Feb). Pusam refers to a star that is at its highest point during the festival.

I'm going texture mad at the moment, but don't be afraid to C&C.

This is my current fav as I added a dogde / burn layer and painted in a 3-D effect, it is the closest I've got to thinking of 'the masters' as I painted in the highlights.

A tad abstract, the below are the Hindu devotees assembling the frames which will later be worn by the men in the procession.

Later this guy collapsed after his cheek was pierced as part of the sacrificial ritual.

After some texture madness, I've only used LR for these shots just to keep it all in perspective.
