Maps and GeoRSS data

I have a Google map key and a Google map (not much there yet) on my site. I am trying hard to get a Google My Map to import the feed data (I have the feed URL) from the map here at Smugmug.

I know it can be done - Don's hit it well already.

However, when I click to import into my map it asks for the URL of the map data (KML, KMZ, or GeoRSS). Does such a file exist for users with a Map Key? If so where is it. If not, how can I get the geotagged images (which ar in several galleries) easily imported into the My Map?

What you need to do is change the &format in the feed url string. If you change it from &format=atom10 (or &format=rss200) to &format=kml, you should be good to go.

The feed url I have is:

http://maps.smugmug.com/?feedType=geoUser&Data=greyleafphoto&format=kml

Google My Maps does not like that.

Do I need to make other changes?

I got farther with

http://maps.smugmug.com/?Data=greyleafphoto.smugmug.com&format=kml

but in the end it still failed.

Awesomeness, Dev. I would swear I had used that in the Google import.

Now, how can I get more than 10 tagged photos to show?

That's a bug, there should be a fix going out for it later in the week.
