A question about setting up a shoot through umbrella:
If I mount my 580EX on a Pocket wizard transceiver, and use a lightstand with a shoe mount (like this one), will the transceiver mount on the shoe mount directly, or do I need an additional piece to make it fit correctly? Aside from the 580, I don't have any of this equipment yet but am looking to set up a rudimentary studio and am trying to plan out what equipment I need.
Thanks.

Are you talking about the new TTL transceiver? If so, it'll mount in the shoe and the flash will sit on top of it. If you're talking about the PII style transceiver, then it's best to use the provided lanyard and hang it from the umbrella bracket or buy one of the cases that allows you to mount it to the light stand.
On a scale of 1 to 10, my awesomeness goes all the way to 11.

Yes it would be the new TTL transceiver. Thanks for the input.
